Getting to the Black Creek Medieval Festival at Black Creek Pioneer Village
Whether you’re arriving by carriage, coach, or the mighty steed of the TTC, we welcome you to step back in time with us!
By Car:
Set your destination to Black Creek Pioneer Village:
1000 Murray Ross Parkway, Toronto, ON M3J 2P3
- Parking is available on site in the main Black Creek lot, located just off Murray Ross Parkway.
- Parking fees are set by the Village and may vary. Be sure to check Black Creek Pioneer Village’s website for up-to-date information.
Once parked, make your way to the main entrance of Black Creek Pioneer Village.
By TTC:
- Take the Line 1 (Yonge-University) subway to Pioneer Village Station.
- Exit onto Steeles Avenue West and walk east toward Murray Ross Parkway.
- Turn right (south) onto Murray Ross and follow the signs to Black Creek Pioneer Village.
- The walk from the station to the Village is about 7–10 minutes.
The Final Journey to the Festival Grounds:
No matter how you arrive, everyone must enter through the main entrance of Black Creek Pioneer Village. From there, your journey continues:
- Enjoy a leisurely 8-minute stroll through the charming historic village.
- Follow the signs and the sounds of merriment!
- Our festival grounds await you at the far end of the village, where lords, ladies, minstrels, and merchants gather to celebrate the age of chivalry.
A Note to Adventurers:
The walk includes some uneven ground and gravel paths. Comfortable footwear is advised—this is a festival, not a joust (unless you’re in it)!
